Huggies is trying to pull these off as fashionable. Maybe for Britney Spears’ kids. They are probably still in diapers. Not quite my cup-of-tea but if you like these diapers, get them quick. Available for a ‘limited time’ only. That’s a shame.

I have watched my husband choke this stuff down for over a year now without any real interest except for some mild satisfaction I felt watching him suffer through his self-inflicted morning torture routine. Who would intentionally want to start their day gagging down this green, gritty looking concoction? Well, as it turns out, it’s a great way to start every day. Spirulina looks like dirt but it is actually a blue-green fresh water algae and is one of nature’s oldest superfoods. It contains an incredible variety of vitamins, minerals and nutrients with everything from vitamin B to magnesium. It’s also a great source of protein, antioxidants and essential fatty acids.
If you are tired or mentally drained, taking spirulina can make a big difference, quickly. Unlike caffeine, it is helping your body by providing nutrients not just acting like a drug to drain your adrenals. So, I have got to give the hubs credit for introducing me to this supplement although I take it in capsule form. Much easier to handle in the early morning hours.

I have found myself in a fashion quandary. The dilemma? Which pair of skinny cargos to purchase. As a lover of all things military chic, my first choice would be the J Brand ‘Houlihan’ skinny cargo. J Brand has never done me wrong. Their denim fits like a second skin. However, they seem particularly proud of this style as shown by the $231 price tag. This has sadly forced me to pursue other avenues. My laser-focused research lead me to find a quiet competitor in the Rich and Skinny cargo, priced marginally more reasonably at $172. Decisions, decisions. Which pair do you prefer? *Please note the two hot celeb mom’s rockin’ J Brand.

Well, I just discovered that I am a born-again prude. The Mominatrix’s Guide To Sex by Kristen Chase, had more chapters than I care to admit that made me either cringe or blush. I did find the tamer topics to be very insightful and pretty hilarious. ’Helping a Dad Out’ is an entire chapter that gives the men in our lives advice on how to best deal with us post-baby. Example? Lay off the ass smacks and boob grabs. A better turn-on would be some extra, unsolicited help with the kids or around the house. Chase also has a rather amusing section devoted to the Top Five ‘parent friendly’ sex toys. If you are looking for a jump-start in the bedroom department, I would give this book a read. But if your sensibilities are offended by the talk of vibrators and handcuffs, definitely avoid.
